Magic Lantern I made out of a photo-chemical bottle. Used my iPhone light for the source.

Simple, but turned out better than expected. Sorry for my lack of flipbook skills.

For my immersive space, I toyed with the idea of playing around with different types of lighting. Being a filmmaker, I use lighting and composition to emulate different emotions, and the idea here would be to have a different section of spacing lit differently than the last. For example, having a room lit softly with a softbox or the like, then have a room where everything is lit from above. There are lots of ways in which to do this and you could also add color to the lights in order to reflect a certain mood.
The back side of all of this would be the amount of lights we would need to borrow from the comm building or whoever, and the space to put it all in. I have my own personal lighting kit but it’s not exactly built for the kind of complex set ups that would be required to make every room unique and different than the one before it.
